Building strong faith, families and friendships
through Christ's love.

 

Our mission is three-pronged but all are bound together through one major factor, the love of Jesus Christ.

Strong Faith 

In the past 25 years church attendance has dropped by nearly one half. The reason behind this is that people are either putting their faith in something other than Jesus Christ and His saving power, or those they have felt that the church has no longer become relevant to meet their spiritual needs. At Family Life Church we recognize that faith in Christ's love is the only thing we can really count on and that man, money, and materialism will disappoint us at some point in our lives. Family Life Church offers a safe haven to come and be spiritually refreshed regularly while meeting new friends, that in many cases, are facing many of the same challenges our society places on us. We feel, strongly that the Bible holds all the answers to this life and it is still as relevant today as it was 2000 years ago.  At Family Life Church we use illustrative, relevant, and modern ways of teaching the old time messages of the Bible that never change.

Strong Families 

With divorce, teenage pregnancies, child abuse, and rebellious young people at an epidemic proportion, we at Family Life Church know that only Christ can make a change in this declining institution.  We have structured much of our teachings and gatherings around building up the families. We recognize that many are divorced and are trying to raise children by themselves.  We are here to encourage, buildup, and assist -- not tear down or condemn.  God is a God of reconciliation in every opportunity we call upon His unfailing love to do just that.  The bottom line at Family Life Church is that the family has been on a spiral downward and we are calling on God and His Word to strengthen and rebuild families.

Strong Friends
In a day and age where we communicate on cell phones, e-mail, fax machines, telephones, MySpace and more, we find that there is an epidemic of loneliness in our nation.  People are looking for real relationships with people who really care about them, and they can in turn care for them.  At Family Life Church we encourage and teach the importance of having strong friends.  It is not the amount of friends that we have, but that we have a few strong trustworthy friends. We teach biblical principles that help cultivate and encourage strong friendships.  We believe that at Family Life Church you will develop lifelong meaningful friendships.

Our mission can only be accomplished through the love of Jesus Christ.  He displayed that love by giving His life for us, and we at Family Life Church except that through His love we can accomplish our mission throughout the world.  Some of the ways we help each person reach their potential in Christ
