Our Women of Worth Ministry (or W.O.W. as we so fondly call it) has a vital role in our church -- to help women to reach their full potential in Christ, to provide support and encouragement in their faith, families and friendships, and to help them connect with other women within the church. The women in our church are very much involved in all kinds of different areas.
Throughtout the year there are a number of opportunities to get involved. Women of Worth gatherings are held once a month. Each month provides something different. Sometimes we do scrapbooking or make crafts, other times we have a movie night which includes munching on popcorn and candy (what's a movie without that). Then other times we may put together food baskets for the needy or work with a local charity such as "Project Linus" to help out our community. Also during the year, we enjoy other events such as special speakers, retreats or field trips. Each of our meetings includes a special devotional time and a time for prayer and fellowship.
